Andrew Witty - CEO GlaxoSmithKline
Andrew Witty became the new CEO of GlaxoSmithKline succeeding JP Garnier on the 22nd May 2008.Witty beat out internal competitors to win the posting. He had considerable experience in the emerging markets, such as China, and one of his first reshuffles was to re-orientate the company in favour of these markets.
At 42 he is the youngest CEO of Glaxo.
