Sea Fog

Sea Fog is a type of weather phenomenon which results in the sudden appearence of fog banks offshore, which then move in the general wind direction.

In general the fog moves off the sea inland.

Sea Fog is created when warm air is cooled by colder air beneath it, resulting in a loss of ability to hold moisture. This moisture condenses, generating fog.

On the weekend of April 15 2007 a number of people had to be rescued in the United Kingdom, after they went out on jet ski bikes and became lost after the sudden descent of sea fog.
