FlashPaper

Macromedia FlashPaper is a software application developed and distributed by Adobe.

It behaves as a virtual printer, meaning that FlashPaper documents can be generated from almost any application with a print function.

Originally developed by Macromedia it was designed to be a rival to the Adobe PDF format. File sizes are generally smaller, though quality can be compromised.

Since the merger of Adobe and Macromedia the future of FlashPaper is uncertain, however it continues to be distributed with Macromedia Contribute and Studio.
