The Coronation Stone

The Coronation Stone is an ancient stone block, located next to the Guildhall in Kingston upon Thames, a suburb of London, England.
It is said that at least seven of the old Saxon kings of England were crowned as they stood upon the stone, and their names are now inscribed around its base. These were:

Edward the Elder
Athelstan
Edmund I of England
Edred of England
Edwy of England
Edward the Martyr
Ethelred the Unready
